October 9, 2021 - 7:30 PM - Mary Flagler Cary Hall, DiMenna Center for Classical Music, NY, NY - Megalopolis presents the world premiere of Nicola LeFanu’s In the Forests of the Night for saxophone orchestra alongside new works by Josiah Catalan and Niki Harlafti.

November 2, 2019 - 7:30 PM - Mary Flagler Cary Hall, DiMenna Center for Classical Music, NY, NY - Joined by mezzo-soprano Briana Hunter, Megalopolis presents the world premiere of music by Jay Schwartz alongside the world premiere of a new work by Molly Herron, and the US premiere of Maurice Karkoff’s Sechs Albumblätter.

March 30, 2019 - 3:00 PM - Mary Flagler Cary Hall, DiMenna Center for Classical Music, NY, NY - New York City premiere of works by Harlafti, Poe, and Martin, as well as Jeremey Rapaport-Stein's prize-winning quartet, Fuzzy Assemblages.

March 24, 2019 - 3:00 PM - Boston Latvian Church, Brookline, MA - World premiere of works by Lara Poe and MSO Composer-in-Residence Niki Harlafti, as well as the world premiere of Frank Martin's Passacaille adapted for saxophone orchestra by Michael Brinzer. This concert will include Jacob Walls prize-winning quartet, Tachygenesis.

March 23, 2019 - 3:30 PM - Banquet Hall, Boston Latvian Church, Brookline, MA - Lecture led by MSO Composer-in-Residence Niki Harlafti on her compositions, and particularly her works for saxophone.

November 3, 2018 - 3:00 PM - First Church of Cambridge, Cambridge, MA - Massachusetts premiere of works by Hayes Biggs, Mark Taggart, and John Worley. This concert will feature the first-prize quartet from the MSO's Call for Scores, Vaisseau Fantôme, by MSO Composer-in-Residence Niki Harlafti.

October 28, 2018 - 1:00 PM - 22 Boerum Place, Brooklyn, NY - Season opening concert featuring the world premiere of a new work by Hayes Biggs, Mei-Fang Lin's prize-winning quartet from the MSO's Call for Scores, as well as the NYC premiere of works by Lei Liang, Mark Taggart, and John Worley.

April 7, 2018 - Anna-Maria Kellen Concert Hall, NY, NY - NYC premiere of works by Kanasevich, Janmohammadi, and Glaser, as well as music by Edvard Grieg.

March 3, 2018 - First Church in Boston, Boston, MA - Boston debut of the Megalopolis Saxophone Orchestra, featuring the world premiere of works by Gleb Kanasevich and Nima Janmohammadi, the MA premiere of Werner Wolf Glaser's Three Pieces, and Edvard Grieg's Holberg Suite, Op. 40.

December 9, 2017 - Mary Flagler Cary Hall, DiMenna Center for Classical Music, NY, NY - New York City debut of the Megalopolis Saxophone Orchestra, including the NYC premiere of works by Alex Burtzos, Stephen Dankner, and Jesse Limbacher.

November 11, 2017 - Beveridge Hall, Dana Hall School of Music, Wellesley, MA - First concert of the Megalopolis Saxophone Orchestra's New Works Series featuring the world premiere of a new work by Jesse Limbacher, as well as music by Burtzos, Dankner, and Ives. 

October 14, 2017 - The HUB, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA - Pop-up performance featuring members of the Megalopolis Saxophone Orchestra as part of Boston's HUBweek.

April 9, 2017 - Beveridge Hall, Dana Hall School of Music, Wellesley, MA - Inaugural concert of the Megalopolis Saxophone Orchestra, founded and directed by Andrew R. Steinberg, featuring the world premiere of a new work by Alex Burtzos.
